Excluding sub directories in NSB not working for me

Thread needs solution

I'm trying to set up a NSB on Folder.

Within that folder are sub folders I don't need backed up.  One is directly under the main folder, two are about 3 deep.

When I go into source, I tick the initial folder.  Then untick the sub folders I don't want backed up.

But when I start the NSB it will back up the subfolders anyway.  The only way I've found that stops this from happening is to tick the main folder and then use the exclusions tab to add the sub folders.

This works, but I don't have to do this workaround for other standard backups.  For a standard folder backup, if I untick the subfolders then they don't get backed up.  I don't need to add them to the exclusions tab.

Is this normal for NSB?

Craig, this looks to be working fine for me with my test NSB of some folders where I have not needed to use the exclusions but have done all the folder / sub-folder selections on the main Source panel.

I am assuming that you are starting with a new NSB task, not changing the source selection for a NSB task that had previously selected the folders you don't want to include?

Yep.  Was a new NSB task.  Tried it multiple times with the same result each time.

I'll try it again on a different box.
