Running Backup not complete at scheduled backup time

Thread needs solution

I have had ATI for about two weeks now. I wanted to test out the cloud backup so on Dec 5 I created a backup task to back up my system drive (C:) to the cloud. It took about 45 hours. Then I used that backup to restore my system to a brand new 1 TB SSD. That also worked. Then I wanted to try an incremental backup so went to my already existing backup task and told it to backup now. I figured it would take less than an hour.

However, there were two drives in my system, a 512GB SSD (my F: drive) and the new 1TB SSD which replaced my old 480GB SSD C:). When I backed up the first time I unchecked that 512GB SSD so that only the C:

I did not realize then when I restored, the Acronis would want to to a full backup again. And this time, I did not un-check the F drive before starting the backup. So now it is backing up (a full backup) both drives. SO far it's been 31 hours.

I don't mind the time so much, but what I'm concerned about is that I had previously scheduled that backup task to run every Monday at 1:00 AM. That's only about 4 hours away. I cannot figure out how disable that scheduled task (as I say, that very task is running now) and I don't want it to crash so that I have to start all over again.

So I have searched to see if anyone knows if Acronis is smart enough to not try to restart the backup that is already running. I'm hoping to get an answer in the next 4 hours. If not, I guess I will be giving the answer as I'll know by then what will happen.

Hello Bob,

Your current backup will not be restarted. The task that has a schedule will go to the queue and will be executed after the current one is finished.

Thanks. That is good to know.

My backup is still running so when it completes I assume by what you say that it will start up again. I hope that one will then be an incremental backup and take way less than 45 hours. Can't wait :)
