Acronis Survival Kit Questions?

Thread needs solution

I created a Survival kit for my Desktop on a 1TB portable drive. Is the survival partition specific to this computer? Or can I create a full backup of other PC’s on it that I have space for?

Can I copy regular folders to this drive?

Dave, you should be able to use the Survival Kit with other systems by booting from it, and thus make backups to the drive, assuming that the ATI boot media can recognise the drives involved and the other systems use the same CPU architecture as the one where you created the kit (i.e. both 64-bit OS systems).

You can use the storage portion of the drive as you would any other drive, but you should not put anything else into the FAT32 2GB partition where the Acronis media is stored, as this partition may be cleared when updating the kit.
