incremental backup exactly same size as full backup?
Hey all,
I'm trying to backup my 1tb external hard disk to another 6tb external hard disk. (both formatted to exfat)
I've noticed that every time the backup runs, the incremental backup takes up the same space as full backup (despite the program stating it's an incremental). I have tried to delete the backup schedule and create a new one but the issue persist. Anyone can help?
Thanks

Note that exFAT is not listed in the supported file systems list, therefore the lower paragraph applies where it states:
If a file system is not supported or is corrupted, Acronis True Image 2018 can copy data using a sector-by-sector approach.
So what do you recommend? I need to use exFat as i use both Mac and Windows. I tried backup by selecting file instead of the entire drive, and it works as normal

Carl, consider upgrading to ATI 2019 where exFAT is now listed as being supported.
See the ATI 2019 User Guide: Supported File Systems.
Supported file systems
- NTFS
- Ext2/Ext3/Ext4
- ReiserFS(3) *
- Linux SWAP *
- HFS+*/HFSX*
- FAT16/32/exFAT * **
* File systems are supported only for disk or partition backup/recovery operations.
** File systems are supported only for disk or partition recovery operations (without resizing).
If a file system is not supported or is corrupted, Acronis True Image 2019 can copy data using a sector-by-sector approach.
