ABR 11.7 - Exchange - Unable to restore mailbox. Application crash

Thread needs solution

Hi!
It's been from yesterday that I need to restore the whole "inbox" of a user mailbox, and the Management Console keeps crashing.

I can browse for the backup set, I can select the folder, but when I confirm the selection, the Management Console seems to freeze for some minutes, and then crashes.

The error is always the same:

****
Faulting application name: ManagementConsole.exe, version: 11.7.0.50088, time stamp: 0x5a58b4c2
Faulting module name: fox.dll, version: 11.7.0.50088, time stamp: 0x5a587f9c

I tried to do the task at the Management Server and also installed the console directly onto the Exchange server, but the error is the same.

My backup repository is an iSCSI volume mounted at the AMS and managed by the Storage Node.

I don't know how to do more than this...

Hope someone can help me!

Thanx in advance!

Hello Metalgalle,

unfortunately, since there is an application crash, this problem cannot be solved on this forum. The crash dumps should be analyzed by the development team.

Please contact Acronis Support Team

You will need to collect crash dumps after reproducing the issue and the system information from the server where Management Console crashes. The detailed instructions on what information and how it should be gathered is here: https://kb.acronis.com/content/45631
