Workstation Backup on Macos

Thread needs solution

Hi, i m using Acronis True image winth macos now, and i m little confuse. My tipical workflow on pc version is booting from acronis usb and creating a backup of C: on an external drive. File .tib results around half of the used size of c: and, for restoration, i restore image and windows starts normaly. In macos, booting from usb,  i can see only restoration routin, nothing to crate a backup. Now I m doing a day per day backup ( very big files... no compression???) and olso i 'm not sure i will can restore complety my mac without booting problem... I feel thet sonthing that i don't untestood :(

Thanks for your help and sorry for my english

Giuseppe, welcome to these public User Forums.

As a Windows user only with no Mac computers, I can only recommend that you read through the ATI 2019 User Guide for Mac and the associated FAQ documents which should be a good starting place for understanding how the product works on that platform.

You may also want to browse the dedicated Acronis True Image for Mac Forum and ask your questions there.

Finally the Acronis Knowledgebase is a good source of information.

A bootable media in Acronis True Image for Mac allows only recovery operations, so this the correct behavior.
