No option for incremental backup to cloud
Since installing the latest version of Acronis (2019) I have lost the option to do incremental backups to the cloud. I can still do them to an external hard drive. In the previous version of Acronis True Image, I could set cloud backups to doing a full one every 4th time I did a backup and incrementals every other time. But now the Options tab does not show an option for incremental and each cloud backup takes 14+ hours.. As you can see I am not a skilled tech user but I even paid an IT professional to help me and he couldn't find a solution. In fact, I have had to pay him several times over the years to fix this buggy product. I am about to switch to another product.

Larry,
Cloud backup has changed. Your first backup task to the Cloud will be a full backup of all data selected. After that the application performs a Delta style backup where only changed data is backed up. This is similar to and incremental but does not replace already backup data as a true incremental would.

Larry, once a cloud backup is configured, there is no option to change the backup type. The way it is supposed to work is that the first backup is a full and all subsequent backups are supposed to be only the incremental changes that occur between each next backup - basically an incremental for life backup.
That said, if your system is defragging often, or if there is a major upgrade (like say from Windows 10 1803 to 1809), or your backup includes new large files (pictures, photos, videos that are being created frequently), or new iTunes backups of a phone or tablet, those create large changes that can take quite awhile to complete to the cloud again.
Also, the speed with the cloud is dependent upon your upload available from your ISP (for instance, I am supposed to be getting 10Mbps upload from Comcast, but usually only see about 4-5Mbps in reality) and that can take quite awhile if there are many GBps that have changed between backups.
It's really difficult to advise specifically what is causing the large files without more information. Cloud is good for offsite storage as part of a 3-2-1 backup plan (3 copies of data, 2 backups in different locations and at least 1 backup offsite), but in my humble opinion, is not ideal for a primary or only backup solution due to limitations with speeds for both backup and recovery. Downloads are generally pretty fast, but uploads for most people, are generally pretty slow since ISP's provide limited upload speeds, compared to the advertised download speeds.
