11105 and SnapAPI 468 Disables Windows Event Log?

Thread needs solution

I've updated to release 11105 and applied the SnapAPI 468 patch, now Acronis is no longer posting events to the Appliction Event log. I have confirmed:

  • Backup job has event logging set to Backup defaults
  • Backup Default options has event logging set to machine defaults
  • Machine defaults has event logging set to all events

Hi,

I am seeing exactly the same (same version as above), nothing is getting logged to the event log from Acronis except for the MSSQL$ACRONIS entries. In previous versions this worked perfectly. Unfortunatly for me, I use the event logs to ship these events to a remote server for processing, I have in excess of 50 remote servers running v9 working perfectly, I now have 3 v10 servers failing and this is stopping the upgrade of the other servers. I am not in control of these servers as they are owned by my clients so this way of plucking events out of the event logs is a good way for me.

Hello all,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/ | Acronis Corporate Products]]

We have released a new build of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10.0 (build #11133).  Please download and install the latest build. You can learn more on how to download the latest build  here. This build already contains SnapAPI #468.

See if the issue remains.

Thank you.
