Update to 12730
I cannot update clients to build 12.5.12730 that are not on the same site as the management servers anymore.
In last build we could at least update them with the external ip and port 9877.
Now, there is an error: No connection to ZeroMQ-Gateway on Management Server (internal IP) Open Port 7780 on servers firewall
--------------
(Servers Firewall) Settings did not change. It happens at several customers sites, same situation when I want to install fresh agents.
There is no problem when Management Server is on same subnet.
I was able to update one single machine on a customers site with our central Management Server, but not his 4 other machines
Please help!
Harald

"we are awaiting a patch to be released soon" and soon means days weeks or months?

Hello Pawel,
in order to speed up this new patch release, we recommend that our customers report any securities, collect and share Acronis System Information with our engineers from Acronis Support Team.

Hi Maria, postponing Agent Updates is a good idea at the moment. I guess we all should not update the Server, too! We cannot connect agents of elder builds during update or fresh installation, too. So this is more than a "just do not update" thing...
btw. Why does the update Link in Management Server still download the unstable Update 4?
Last Question: You post a KB Article about changing Port from 7780 to another port. Did you test this, does this work, will this be overwritten with new updates, can this last?
thanks in advance

welcome to Acronis forums!
We regret to know that you've encountered an installation issue with build #12730. We recommend that you postpone updating your Agents with this latest build: we are awaiting a patch to be released soon. There will be an announcement notification placed on this forum about this patch release.
However, if you come across this issue even after a patched update installation, please follow recommendations from this KB article.

I've already talked to tech support, the KB article is not up-to-date.
I've got backups working by changing default port 7780 to our custom port by modififying files:
/usr/lib/Acronis/ZmqGw/net.config
/var/lib/Acronis/ZmqGw/user.config
/usr/lib/Acronis/AMS/net.config
The update overwrite the /usr/lib back to defaults, so check those. Took me a while to figure it out.

Hello Claes,
thank you for taking the time to share your solution with the community! I've asked my colleagues to review the content of this KB article. One questions though - have you modified the additional config files on the latest build or what build is used here?

Same here on 2 independent Thinkpads running Win10 x64 Pro with previous Update 4! Cannot update either PC.

The update to 12860 on both PCs went smoothly.
