Side by Side Migration Fails with "ERROR: Failed to connect to AMS"
I was able to successfully export the settings for our ABA 11.7 server, but when attempting to import them on the new 12.5 server I encounter an error:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\Common>dml_migration.exe import c:\backup\ams11.aba xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx username password

There are no error logs output in the folder where DML_MIGRATION.EXE lives. The 12.5 server is running the latest build. What's causing this to fail? I don't want to recreate everything from scratch.

Hello Maria, thank you the welcome and for your reply.
Both the ABA 11.7 server and the new ABA 12.5 are on-premises deployments. We do not use any cloud services.
I recently (three days ago) installed build 13160 to resolve a console login issue, which is well documented in these forums. Until installing that version, I was unable to log in to the management GUI. Does the latest build NOT support side by side? If so, that would mean I would need to downgrade and possibly break login functionality again, which is not an acceptable outcome.

Hello Mark.
There were no console login issues registered with build #11010, they occurred since build #12730 and have been resolved in build #13160.
Does the latest build NOT support side by side?
Unfortunately, this is true. The workaround is upgrading using the build #11010 (described in this KB article).

Thank you Maria, I appreciate the rapid response. I had opened a support ticket but the agent did not provide any of this information and instead asked for wireshark traces, process monitor logs, and a raft of other information that appears to be unnecessary.
I find this unfortunate and it does not make me want to stay with Acronis as a solution, but at least now I know what I need to do in order to upgrade. This seems like basic functionality that should be included in any enterprise-level product.
Thank you again for your assistance, it is most appreciated.
