Welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry but we will need much more information to work with here to understand what this error is caused by?

I am using Windows 10 #1903 with ATI 2019 with no issues, doing a series of backups at this time of writing too.

Has this been working previously?
If yes, what has changed, i.e. did this issue start after upgrading to #1903?
What are you backing up, and where to?
What type of backup are you creating? (Disks & Partitions or Files & Folders?).
What backup scheme are you using (Full, Incremental, Differential etc?).

Screen images of your settings or other information can be helpful.

Ditto to Steve.  I'm on 1903 18362.116 (for a little over a week now) and existing and new backups are all working as expected.  Need more info on what has recently changed and what is not working. My guess, without ANYTHING to go on, is that your source and/or destination has changed after the 1903 upgrade due to Windows re-partitioning the drive and creating a new WinRE recovery environment partition.  Try re-selecting the source AND the destination in your existing backup tasks again and then trying to run the backups. If that's not it, please provide more info.

The new Windows version 1903 is not officially Supportet ?

Even when i try to create a new Back Task Acronis is not working.

- Full Back(image) to my external hard drive.

Too Steve

yes with version 1809 Acronis is working

Thanks for your help.

Have you tried the suggestion from Rob of reselecting your Source & Destination locations for your backup task?  Upgrading Windows from 1809 to 1903 can cause the partition identifiers used by ATI for the Source and/or Destination locations to change, so this should be your first check.

If this does not resolve the issue, then please do a Repair Install of ATI 2019, which just means to reinstall the ATI application without uninstalling first - this will give you options to either Repair or to Uninstall.

One thing I noticed that I had done just after updating to Windows 10 Build 1903 was to enable the new Windows sandbox feature. This created a read only drive that Acronis couldn't deal with. Once I uninstalled the sandbox feature my backups started working again.

Adam, welcome to these public User Forums.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the new Win 10 1903 sandbox feature and ATI.

Thanks Steve,

I've opened a ticket with Acronis and sent my logs in to see if they can verify my findings or possibly lead me down another path.

I don't see where anyone said it was not.  However, keep in mind that ATI 2019 17750 was released a few months ago (before 1903).  Any tweaks in Windows 10 1903 that were not accounted for in this build would liekly be identified by early adopters like us and fixed in a subsequent update.  There seem to be many of us who are using 1903 with ATI 2019 without much issue.

We need more to go on though - the info provided is very basic and could be due to a number of possibilities.  If you could screenshot the steps you're taking and the specific errors or issues that are occurring as a result, that would be helpful.  We don't know if you just need to re-pick the source and destination in your backup again, or if your external drive is in good health, you have low voltage USB port or cable that is not supplying enough power to the USB drive at times, or if the drive is going to sleep or energy saving mode based on it's own firmware or Windows OS power settings.   Steve and I both asked if you could simply try to re-pick the source and destination of your backup job and save the change (even if it looks exactly like it already does now), and haven't received confirmation of this and/or the results.

I haven't tried the Sandbox feature in it yet, but am glad to hear  about Adam Byers experience with it being a problem for Acronis at the moment and hope he gets some good feedback from his ticket.

Now i found the Problem it is the feature "Windows-Sandbox"

Thanks for help :)

What was the error you were getting with it enabled?  I just enabled sandbox, rebooted, started a backup and it ran fine.  I then opened a sandbox so it was running, started a backup and it ran fine too.

i was getting the Error "unknown Error".

Do you have any news from Acronis ?

Windows 10 version 1903 disable sandbox function, then it works.

Hello Everyone,

We plan to support Windows Sandbox in the future versions of Acronis True Image, but no ETA so far (feature request ID TI-169629).

UPD: We have published a KB article on the issue Acronis True Image: Entire PC backup fails with "Unknown status" if Windows Sandbox is enabled While Acronis is working on fixing the issue, the article offer possible workarounds.
