Options/Parameters not showing up in newly created backup plans

Thread needs solution

I recently updated to the newest build of Acronis and am having trouble getting my validations to run correctly.
I have been playing around by creating different tasks for troubleshooting purposes.

I have now noticed that when I go to create new backup plans many of the options/parameters are missing, such as Convert to VM tab, rentention settings, etc. I have tried clicking on every edit/settings button I can find in the Backup Plans and Tasks console with no luck.

Is there something incredibly stupid I am overlooking or is Acronis somehow broke and not displaying all the parameters available in the backup plan/task?

Thanks in advance.

Build 12497?
It's hard to say what is wrong with paramenter on backup creation page looking at the screenshot of backup plans list. Is it possible to attach the screenshot of the 'create backup plan' page with missing options? At least the 'convert to VM' is a separate task under backup plan and its properties are displayed when the task, not the backup plan, is selected.

Build 12497, Correct.

Here are the screen shots.
Even more odd is when it is loading the page for the plan which has all the options listed (the older of the two plans) for a brief moment a checkbox shows up as in screen1.JPG, then disappears, this box remains there all the time in the newer of the backup plans.

I don't consider myself an expert but I have been doing this for 10 years and worked with other Backup suites such as NTIs, Backup Exec, etc. This software seems to be extremely erratic. I have used older versions of Acronis several years ago and never had problems similar to these.

Thanks for your consideration.

As you check 'use echo style' check, it is most likely the reason for "VM Conversion' section and some scheduling options to disappear. 'Echo style' checkbox is present until the software analyze the archive and then it's hidden when 'ABR10' style archive is detected. Archive protection item in options dialog is not available if you specify existing archive when creating backup plan.

I see, thank you very much for the explanation. I will play around with it some more.
