Recover data from ex storage pool drive.

Thread needs solution

I have a single 4tb drive that was part of a two disk mirror storage pool in WIndows 10. The drives had been disconnected and upon reconnection the pool is showing an error. Although the drive is detected I cannot acces the data.

Is there a way I can recover the data off the drive?

Thanks.

BR, I have never used Storage Pools or Spaces on Windows so have no direct experience here!

See the following web pages that may offer some help.

If you can't repair it in windows, I would think you could create a new one and restore a backup of it to the storage pool as a file/folder recovery from within Windows. I have a feeling this could be pretty slow, but since storage pools are managed in Windows, I don't think you can recover it like a disk/partition backup in windows or with rescue media and instead, need to treat the data recovery as folder/file recovery to the storage pool location.
