How to view build number in ATI2009

Thread needs solution

I know this has to be one of the silliest questions I have ever asked. I have searched and searched to find the build number of a copy of TI2009 I bought and registered buy didn't have any success. For some reason Acronis did away with the "About" option under Help or I have not been able to find it.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.

This will explain how to find it:

Open Acronis, press the Alt key and you'll see 'Help' > 'About', top left.

You're not the first to ask this and you'll definitely not be the last.  It's been asked umpteen times in the old forum.  I don't know what the programmers gained by doing it that way.

Hello all,

I would forward this concern to our Development Team again and ask how they're going to handle it.

Thanks,

I agree with DwnNDrty -- this makes no sense to me. I've wasted LOTS of time looking for it. How someone thought it was a good idea to cleverly hide the menubar is beyond me. I'm glad that someone asked the question... AND posted the answer -- thanks! :)

This has got to be one of the all-time dumbest ideas to be attached to a software package.

What is to be gained by hiding the menubar? Were they hoping we never find out? It took me quite a bit of time to find this out originally and have misplaced that particular mental note to myself at least once.

It's as if someone intentionally tried to find a way to annoy customers.
