Hi Alexander,
I am encountering the same error message and have gone through and verified all of the possible fixes for the issue that you've put in the article and am still encountering the issue. Any other ideas?
A couple of notes about the setup... I am running the trial edition in order to determine whether or not this is a viable software solution for my client. The error message comes when trying to create a master image on a remote computer using the management console on the deployment server. The environment is a windows 2003 domain and the account being used is a domain administrator account. Let me know if you need other information about our environment to come up with a solution.

Hello Blaze,
Welcome to the forum and thank you for posting. I will definitely assist you with this issue.
It is possible it is caused an unsupported transfer model - unicast/multicast or difference in the Acronis Snap Deploy 3 program components.
Please try the following solution:
1. Make sure you are using the latest build.
2. From the main program menu in Acronis Snap Deploy 3 Management Console, click on tools, options and select network utilization. Try using one of the two models and see how the image is deployed.
3. Please do the same as step # 2 in the deployment template.
4. Verify that all the program components are the same build, re-upload the bootable components to the PXE server and re-create the bootable media with the new build.

Following up for anyone experiencing this error... I configured the install incorrectly. I had downloaded the Snap Deploy to Workstations, but installed the Management Console to Windows Server 2003. Once I installed the Console to a Win7 client, I no longer received this error.

Hello,
Looking at Rishad's Configuration. MC on a server A, and Management agent installed on another machine B
When you launch the management console. The Console will by default connect to the server A. Since it does not have the Management Agent it errors out with the error message " unsupported Protocol" .
You woud have to Disconnect from the local machine ( the Server A)." The icon with the Red X on the dash board"
Click Connect. ( connecting to the machine B with the agent through the Management console)
Now specify the machine that has the Management Agent installed on.
The management console will now be connected to the Machine that has the Agent.
You can click on create master image and then it will go ahead with the Master image creation.
