True Image 2009 Doesn't Start Even Though Run Task Now is Selected

Thread needs solution

True Image 2009 doesn't start even though Run Task Now is selected. The only way I can get it to run is to schedule it. I Googled and found something about a zip file that support could supply to fix the issue, but support will no longer take requests from me because I don't havee 2010. Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but I searched the forum and could not find it.

Thanks!!

Hello John,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your message. I will definitely help you with resolving this issue.

Most likely this is an Acronis Scheduler issue, please make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest build.

Then, download the following scheduler update, install it and reboot the machine and let me know if you are still having backup problems. If you do, please collect the AcronisInfo report and send it to me via a private message.

I would also like to ask you to create screenshots of your backup creation steps, this will help me understand this issue a little bit more.

Looking forward to your reply and if you have additional questions, please let me know.

Thank you.

Hello,

I use Acronis 2009 on my laptop. It worked fine until this week. I'm starting backup but nothing happens.
Will this scheduler work for me, too or is there anything new out?

My build is 9.809

Hello Ute,

Thank you very much for posting. I will certainly help you with your question.

Even though you are running the latest build of the software I would recommend to download the scheduler update because sometimes it gets corrupted and starts malfunctioning.

I would really appreciate if you could get back to me with this report if the Acronis scheduler update failed to resolve the issue.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Hi Anton,

thanx for your reply. This scheduler didn't help. I got a message, executing a skript causes an error because of accessing a token that doesn't exist. (Hope my translation makes any sense).

So I have uninstalled an re-installed the software. It did work under admin account but it doesn't work using a regular user account. - This is my internet pc, which I use most of the time as regular user.
The software was installed to be used from every user.

It seems to work at least as admin now.
