Mailbox backup - The activity has failed due to a restart of the service.

Hello,

 

I am using Acronis Backup 12.5 Advanced - Since a while I make a backup on mailbox level. It is working fine, but one mailbox failed, when backuping up it gets stuck at 78% with fault:

"The activity has failed due to a restart of the service."

What I did is a MailboxRepairrequest on the mailbox, but mailbox is healty.

welcome to Acronis forums!

Thanks for sharing the log file. It indicates that the reason of a mailbox backup failure is the 'service_process.exe' Acronis process that failed. Such issues with application lockups should be investigated by Acronis Support Team.

You will be required to reproduce the issue and collect Process DumpsAcronis System Report from Agent with this mailbox and export a backup plan for this task (Plans-> Backups, select the mailbox backup task that fails -> Export) in order to share these data with support engineers for investigation purposes.

we dont have support anymore, we did in the past.

 

Other ideas to tackle this problem?

In this case, I suggest that you download and install the latest update (build #14330). Please note that all Acronis Backup 12.5 components should be updated to the same build.

If the issue still persists, please renew your maintenance and contact Acronis Support Team.
