Backup failed by "Unknown error" in TI2020 ver21400

After updating to TI2020 ver21400, the backup fails by "Unknown error" sometimes (almost 50% probability).
When I use ver 20770 and 21400, the backup failed in "Volsnap driver not found" and so I quit using TI2020, and 21400 with "Volsnap driver not found" fixed is released, this volsnap error seems to disappear, but new "Unknown error" comes out!
Nothing has been improved!

Sorry, but without more diagnostic information about this 'Unknown error' it will be very difficult / impossible to help you.

What do the log files say about the error?

What type of backup are you trying to create?

What version of Windows OS do you have?

Have you tried doing a full clean install of ATI 2020 and creating a totally new backup task?

I'd also start with an install repair (download installer, right-click and "run as administrator" even if logged in with an admin account) and then try to do the repair install.  Reboot and see if it helps, or not.

If not, as Steve suggested, have you tried just creating a new backup task to see if the error is still there in the new backup, or not (sometimes leftovers from previous backups can still lurk in the background).  This would be a simple way to test if it is the backup task that is the issue or not.

Have you tried running Acronis VSS doctor to see if it finds any VSS errors?  It's actually a pretty nice tool and has helped many others in the forum.

And if all else doesn't help, then yeah, try to run the cleanup tool to completely remove everything (again, right-click and "run as administrator" even if logged in with an admin account.  Cleanup all of True image, reboot the system, reinstall (right-click "run as administrator" again - should always do this, no matter what).  Create a new backup task and see if there are still issues, or not.
