Program thinks it is 3 hours earlier then it is
Is there some sort of timezone setting that I cant locate. The time frame of my backups seem to be 3 hours earlier than the actual time. My Pc is set for the correct Eastern time. This will mess up any schedule I might do if I forget about the 3 hours. IE: I completed a bakup at 3:30 PM and the program says the backup completed at 12:30 PM

I have TI 2011 and I am making my backups within the program. The backups say completed 3 hours earlier than the actual time. My Pc is set to the correct time Eastern US but the program thinks it is 3 hours earlier. If I set up a schedule for the backup to run at 7 pm my time I have to make the scheduler say I want the backup to run at 4 pm.

Double check the settings. Maybe you have the options set to only run the backup when idle and it ran later than schedules and was in limbo for a few hours..

Peter,
TI uses the Windows datetime/zone setting for reading the time and date.
What OS are you using?
Which build of TI 2011?
I recall this happening with a beta version of 2011 and previously with (I think) TI 2009 and XP - might have to go to the old forum to find out the answer to the XP problem.

Windows 7 TI 6597. Also another strange issue is happening. Anytime I try and run a scheduled backup or have a backup in queue the PC will BSOD when the scheduled time or the queued backup starts with this error as the dump.

I am thinking it is related to the time problem
BTW thanx for taking the time to help :)

What time does your bios say? My guess as to that BSOD is a USB connection..... you using an external?

Yes an external. I will check my bios after I finish this backup. Funny thing though if the issue is USB why will a non scheduled backup run and complete with no issues to the exact same external drive?. It only BSODs when I try to run a scheduled backup.

TI 2011 latest build has been nothing but a headache :(. I also get Backup fail error failed to read the data stream when I check validate at the time of backup. If it is unchecked the backup completes succesfully. I wish I never got the 2011 the 2010 was working great with no problems what so ever

I have discovered the BSODS were being caused by a unrelated situation but the time issue still remained.
