Cannot do differential backups

Thread needs solution

After iniital backups of 5 systems, there is no way to do differential backups. ATI insists on doing only full backups, thereby requiring upgrade to higher subscription despite having 30% of 1 TB available for differential backups. How do I do differential backups? Thanks, CMA

See the answer given in topic: What to do after initial backups

If these backup tasks are to the Acronis Cloud using the cloud subscription, then there are no options available for using incremental or differential backup schemes - this is because cloud backups are always incremental after the initial full backup is uploaded to the cloud servers.

See KB 7963: First cloud backup is slow where it says:

The good news is that, after the initial backup, only the new and changed files get backed up over the Internet each time. The amount of data will be much less and so will the time for each backup.

The only way to achieve what you want is to create a local backup task. Once the first run is complete, use Replicate to create a copy of the differential backup in Acronis Cloud storage.
