HP ProDesk 400 G6

Thread needs solution

I am having a problem with my boot disks for the ProDesk 400 G6 model. I am trying to load the master image creator to take an image of this new model. When i boot, it gives me a message saying Acronis Loader: Unable to run Boot menu. I press enter and it automatically takes me to the Deploy Image Standalone utility. I tried my boot disks with some older ProDesk models (G1 and G3) and it boots fine.
I am running version 1971, but downloaded the latest boot media from the site and same problem. I have not upgraded to 1993 yet.

I know in the past Acronis has been late to work with some of the newest HP products. Has anyone else had that issue? Do I just need to wait for another Acronis update?

I may have found a workaround, i created a new boot disk with just the Master Image Creator module on it. Same errors when booting up, but it does load the Creator and i am creating an image right now. Kind of annoying i can't use my all in one boot disk, but this should suffice for now.

Hey David,

Thanks for posting. Depending on how those other boot media disks were created they may be WinPE based and able to load drivers that have better support than the current linux based media generated by the product.

Hey David,

Where you able to deploy that image to the ProDesk 400 G6 using the snap deploy agent?

Edit:
I updated to Snap Deploy 6 and the ProDesk 400 G6s worked perfectly; so seems that SD5 doesn't have the drivers for these yet?
