Hello Matteo,

thanks for posting on Acronis forums!

Is it possible to validate this corrupted archive?

If you have a corrupt backup that can't be restored completely and need to restore data from it, the general strategy would be to:

  1. Copy the corrupt backup archive to the internal hard disk drive (if the backup is on an external resource/media);
  2. Mount or explore the backup archive and try to restore files or folders from it.

If i restore a Volume it fail at 40% , but if i restore any file it work fine!

Hello Matteo,

please refer to the chapter Validating archives and backups on how to validate an archive. Validation will check the possibility of data recovery from a backup.  Then try to mount it as described in Mounting an image. If mounting succeeds, I'd also try running chkdsk against the mounted volumes.

Hi, the archive isn't corrupted, so all files are available to restore but if i try to restore a full disk it fail al 40%. Why?

I thinks that my system had a corrupted raid 1 and acronis backup see 2 volumes and not one.

Please help me.

Thanks

Hello Matteo.

I thinks that my system had a corrupted raid 1 and acronis backup see 2 volumes and not one.

This could be the root of this issue. Most probably that your RAID controller either corrupted or Acronis Backup does not recognize it.

We can answer this question if you collect Acronis System Report after reproducing this issue and upload it onto an FTP link that I've sent you in a Private Message.
