Backing up large files

Thread needs solution

I am using the 2009 version of Acronis True Image Home. Am I correct in understanding that this software does not backup files larger thatn 2 GB? I recently restored my files after a hard drive failure and several video's ( I think the larger ones) did to restore and do not appear to be on the backup that I created before the failure. I they were backed up, is there a way to restore these files. I'm a novice with this software and could not follow the instructions in "Help". HELP!!!

There shouldn't be a problem including the large files. What type were they? Are you sure they weren't excluded?

Does the size of the backup indicate that the large files were included? For example, if you backed up your Windows partition that included a 10GB video and the backup image size is only 12GB, the video is probably not included.

Do you see them when you Mount or Explore the backup (try both)?

What folder are the files in? Some user folders aren't where you think they are because of how Windows links them. When browsing backups you may need to look in a different folder.
