forum notification settings won't work
When I check the Forum Account|Edit boxes to:
"Receive comment follow-up notification e-mails"
"Receive content follow-up notification e-mails"
then click SAVE I get a message that "The changes have been saved." but they aren't even on that very screen: the boxes have been unchecked, and I've never ever gotten these forum notifications. Even though my forum email is the exact same as my Acronis Account email which I do get ticket emails for.
I've tried clicking the Follow button on when I post to create a thread, but that doesn't help.

Coyote, some notifications have started coming through after playing around with trying to turn the profile settings on / off several times - not as many as I would expect, but more than I was getting.
What I found was that if I just changed one option then clicked on Save, it seemed to 'stick' but I also ended up logging out and back in again because I couldn't get Firefox to display the page until I had done so???
If I was changing multiple settings, then nothing stuck after clicking Save! In essence, I turned the notification off, one at a time, saved inbetween, then turned them on again, one at a time and saving inbetween, along with having to log out / in again! (Not to mention turning fully around 3 times, shouting Bingo!, touching wood and standing on one leg!). :=( '

Must have spoken too soon yesterday! Not receiving any notifications for updates on topics I am posting to today despite them being shown in the forums listings.

Out of the blue I just got a notification email for Thomas' post (and for one to another thread).
But of course not for Steve's three over the last 9 days.

Thanks Ekaterina, I am still not getting any notifications at present from the forums, not even for new topics being created anymore. What I have been getting is marketing type mails which started with a Welcome to ATI 2020 one!

Same here, never get any notifications from this forum on any comments I make nor any topics I create. Kind of a real pain, but then again I don't think that we should be forced to use the same password for our forum login as our Acronis account in general either. This to me seems like a security weakness to me, but I am no cyber security expert. Just seems like Acronis puts a lot of faith in the security of their forum. I mean hack the forum and you have access to the Acronis account, whereas with a separate credential for the forum....Hack the forum and still don't have access to the Acronis account. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that TLS/SSL is used for the forum, but I think the forum should be a separate entity away from our main Acronis accounts. It just adds an extra layer of security in my opinion.

For what it's worth, notifications are still random at best. I got one overnight, but found several updated threads that did not result in notifications.
