Backup Failed: Network connection invalid because of timeout

Thread needs solution

Hi,
since a couple of days I'm getting this error: Backup Failed: Network connection invalid because of timeout

I have no cloue on how to solve.
the server is 100% reachable.
The only thing I've changed are:
- Updating the backup agent (through the web platform)
- Adding 8.8.8.8 to the resolv.conf of my server as a DSN

Can you help?

Hi,

the results seems all ok

Check for eu2-cloud.acronis.com 443 Ok
Check for eu2-cloud.acronis.com 7783 Ok
Check for baas-fes-eu2.acronis.com 443 Ok
Check for rs-eu2-baas.acronis.com 443 Ok

I've changed nothing for what concerns the firewall.

Yesterday (after writing this message) I ran the backup manually from the consolle and it was successful, but tonight the scheduled backup failed again.

Hello Massimo.

If it continues to regularly fail, please collect Acronis System Information from the Agent which backups are not created and share it with Acronis Support Team for deeper analysis.
