Restoring to dissimilar MacBook
Hello,
I made a full backup through Acronis True Image 2020 of my MacBook Pro (currently under repair) on a external hard disk. The backup include the Acronis Survival Kit. The version of MacOs is 10.14.1. The external hard disk contains 2 bootable volumes : One with 2 files (filename.tib & filename.tib.metadata) ; One named Acronis Bootable Media with many MacOs directories (I think created with Acronis Survival Kit).
I have 3 questions :
1 / Is it possible to restore my data on another Mac (MacBook Air – MacOS version 10.15.2) ? I tried but I can't do it at the moment…
2 / If the repair required changing the motherboard of my MacBook Pro, will it be possible to restore my data on my repaired MacBook Pro ? (regarding the KB 62970, I’m not very sure…)
3/ should I use the Acronis Pay per Incident support service to resolve my problem ?
If possible, could you tell me the procedure to follow to restore my backup (made on my MacBook Pro) on my MacBook Air ?
PS : I created an incident ticket but I have not received any support ...
Thanks for your answer
Franck

Recently my MacBook suddenly stopped working, and all I could see was a white screen. I thought it was a mirage and started blinking my eyes and shaking my head, believing that the image would disappear.
