ATI 2020 Cloud replication fails after losing internet connection?
Dear forum/support,
Using ATI for many years now and implemented the 3-2-1 strategy using Amazon Glacier for backup replication to the Cloud. This week I moved to a Acronis premium subscription with 3TB Cloud storage as a full backup of my system is about 2.5 TB. After replicating about 150 GB to Acronis Cloud the replication failed due to a lost internet connection...
Ok no problem. I splitted up the (tibx) backup files into 5GB chunks so I supposed the maximum amount of data that has to be re-uploaded is well... 5GB. I mean, I supposed ATI 2020 would just continue uploading where it stopped maybe losing the backup file it was uploading when the error occurred. But no, it is starting the upload process all over again! :-| Did I configure something wrong?
This scenario means it is quite possible I never get to finish replicating my backup to the cloud and never have a cloud backup. So paying for a 3TB cloud storage subscription is a waste of money right? Is this not resuming the upload a "by design" scenario or is this a bug? If this is by design I would rather stick to Amazon Glacier, cancel my subscription and have a refund.
Many thanks.

Rodger, I would recommend forgetting about using replication to the Cloud in your scenario as it works similar to local backups, so will want to create new full backups when the local task does, which if your backup is already 2.5TB simply won't fit into 3TB.
Create a separate backup direct to the Cloud (as Destination) which only ever makes a single full backup then uses a delta incremental process to just upload changes. This does support resuming a failed backup etc.
Replication is brand new in ATI 2020 and is not yet fully mature in my opinion!
Hi Steve,
Sounds like a great suggestion, I'll do that!
Thanks.
