Acronis 12.5 - Cannot manual add(move) agent
Hello,
I use acronis 12.5
The current equipment situation is as follows.
A: Install Acronis Management Server + Agent
B: Install Acronis Management Server + Agent
I want to manage both A and B equipment in A.
So I typed the RegisterAgentTool command on machine A.
register_agent.exe -o register -g "B Device IP" -s mms
But failed with the following error.
Error 0x2470001: HTTP transfer error
| line: 0xcbd0886296318956
| file: e:\497\enterprise\common\http\curl_transport.cpp:417
| function: Http::Curl::CurlDetails::RequestScope::MakeError
| requestType: POST
| uri: "B Device IP"/api/mms/registration
| host: "B Device IP"
| port: 0xa8e2
| curlResult: 0x7
| $module: register_agent_vsa64_s_14330
|
| error 0x2260007: Failed to connect to "B Device IP" port 43234: Connection refused
| line: 0xcbd0886296318955
| file: e:\497\enterprise\common\http\curl_transport.cpp:416
| function: Http::Curl::CurlDetails::RequestScope::MakeError
| $module: register_agent_vsa64_s_14330
So I find about it.
https://kb.acronis.com/content/61805
However, both devices have the same band-band network, and both firewalls and ports are open. The port is not in use by any other process.
And I can register normally by inputting RegisterAgentTool command on B machine as below.
register_agent.exe -o register -a "A Device IP" -s mms
However, this method is very inefficient if there is a lot of equipment in the same B state (Acronis Management Server + Agent installed).
So I want to register an agent on machine A without access to machine B.
Am I wrong entering the register_agent.exe command? Or is there another way?
For reference, I tried to add a machine from the administration web page, but it failed because the network path was not found.
Thank you.

Hello Lemoning,
thank you for posting on Acronis forums!
Thank you for sharing this activity log. Please note that port 43234 is responsible for connecting with Managed Machine Service (acronis_mms). Please check if it is running on Machine B and is not blocked by antivirus software.

Hi, Peter.
Q. When you are trying to add a machine on the web console, do you use IP or hostname?
A. I use an IP address.
Q. Does the hostname correctly resolve to the correct IP?
A. Yes, I confirmed the IP value and hostname through command prompt. It was right.
Q. Do you want to install the agent remotely or it's already installed and only want to register it?
A. The agent has already been installed. But I want to designate the management server as another device.
Q. Are all your machines part of a windows domain?
A. Some are Windows, some are Linux. However, both of these errors occur in the same way.
Q. I'm also a little confused about your system architecture. Do you want to have two management servers?
A. I only want to manage it on A equipment. (Installing the management server on machine B was a mistake for another employee.
Thank's to your reply.

Hello Lemoning.
Have you checked the mms service on remote Agents? It everything is OK with it, then please open a case with Acronis Support Team to investigate and solve this connectivity issue.

Hello Yashvant Pakharsangve!
I suggest contacting support for app crashes, which both of your screenshots seem to be.
