Cannot create backup on Surface Pro 7

Thread needs solution

Hi there,
I purchased the latest version of True Image (2020) and created a bootable USB drive with True Image on it. I can boot my Surface Pro 7 from that USB drive but I cannot create no backup. Every time I start the backup process True Image tells me that a backup cannot be created from a BitLocker encrypted drive. That's strange because the SSD in my Surface Pro 7 is neither BitLocker encrypted nor encrypted with a different piece of software like VeraCrypt.

Do you have any idea what the problem is? I purchased True Image only because I wanted to create backups of my surface and now it won't work...

Thank you!

This is a known issue because even though Bitlocker is not enabled, it is not disabled either!

Use the command:

manage-bde c: -off

The should resolve the issue because Bitlocker is in a 'Waiting for activation' state.
