Does anyone know how to (on windows 10) to re-associate file types back to the original file type?
Granted, this is way, way way out of place even here. But I thought I'd ask it here because the MVP's are really, really smart.
I'll never know why I did what I did, but I associated a .vbf file..What's a .vbf file, you are asking. It's the extension used by a program of mine that builds flight plans, in the program I use, Pilot 2 Atc.
I asked the Dev of that program,. he had no idea how get it back to its default file type.
There are videos on the subject, which I followed, unfortunately, to no avail. Somehow, it worked for the content creator, just not me.
So, if you guys knew how to remove the current association and restore it to its former association if I remember correctly - it was like a white square with horizontal lines, similar to the .dll icon.
Thanks to all who reply..

Sounds reasonable - I checked and don't have any .vbf file associations.
