Imaging Errors: E00040011, E00770022.
We recently purchased Acronis Snap Deploy 3 to image some new laptops to get away from using an old version of Ghost and update our deployment processes eventually from single builds to server deployed images. We have created the Master Image using USB bootable media (onto an 8GB PNY stick) created from the Snap Deploy Management console onto 2 different external drives (1 brand new Western Digital and a previously used Buffalo) both formatted to NTFS.
The first 2 images went fine using the USB bootable Stand Alone console again created from the Management Console, then the 3rd and 4th laptop images both errored alternatively with either E00040011 Specified File Does Not Exist or the Poor and/or Corrupted Media error & then mostly E00770022 Deploying Operations is not finished Successfully however we also get the same inital errors then it finishes indicating a successful image (though it only takes a few seconds so has not imaged).
The laptops are Lenovo X201 ThinkPads with Win7 on them. The first two (successful) laptops we imaged with Acronis did have previously created Norton Ghost XP SP2 images on them installed during build testing and so the laptops out of the box initially seemed to be the root of the problem however I have tested by imaging a new one with Ghost (successful) and then recreating the Acronis process again but the same errors occur.
So I read my way through these and other forums, and:
1. Checked BIOS options matched on all machines to the successful ones.
2. Tested using different USB ports on the laptops & their docks, then with different USB cables.
3. Removed the HD from an unimaged machine and put it into the chassis of one of the machines that imaged successfully and tried imaging (same errors).
4. FDISK a Win7 machine so imaging is done to a clean drive.
5. Updated my Management Console from Build 3292 to 3470
6. Ran CHKDSK on the drives - 0 bad sectors and no errors on the new WD, the Buffalo had a few corrupt attribute records and some orphan file record segments which CHKDSK fixed finishing with no errors and no bad sectors.
I recreated the image from scratch this time with no Compression (intially we went with the lowest compression option) using the updated Management console created bootable media. Recreated the bootable deployment media stick using the updated console.
I still get the same problem with new machines out of the box and previous Ghost imaged machines. This is now quite time critical for me as I have a large number of machines to finish and time is short so all help is greatly appreciated.

We are looking to purchace Acronis or Ghost, but recieve same errors in our trail of Acronis. We have yet to complete one succesful image deployment. Has this been resolved or is there a resolution?
Thanks
