Dwight, please see KB 61844: Acronis True Image 2019 and 2020: How to delete old backups which has guidance on this topic.

I am running TI build 25700 and MVP ATI version 18.6.  When in boot mode the browse feature does not allow access (does not display) to the most recent version of a Differential chain.

Ken, if you are booting from the MVP Custom PE version of the rescue media, then you need to ensure that you have created that media on the computer with ATI 2020 #25700 installed so that the media knows how to handle the new .tibx files.

Steve,

I did, in fact, create the MVP Custom PE Version of the rescue media with ATI 2020 #25700 installed.  For unrelated reasons I had uninstalled ATI and then reinstalled it.  I then created a new MVP Custom PE version of the rescue media.  So, I am now getting .tibx files for the first time.  This problem is a new one for me and exists only for the .tibx differential chain.  Booting up in the MVP environment I see all backups in the differential chain except for the last one.

Ken

Ken, when you are booted into the MVP PE environment, how are you looking at the .tibx files and how going to delete any?

In the PE environment, you should be able to see all files present on your attached drives.

Steve,

All the files are present but the time in the MVP environment is 3 hours earlier than my time.  This threw me off to point of thinking that I had a missing file because in Windows I have to files on the 11th and in MVP only one.  So no real problem after all.  On the other hand I now would like to sync these times if that is possible.

Ken, there can be time zone differences when booted from any rescue media which would account for the differences you are seeing, but glad that you have got to the bottom of the files issue here.  I am not sure how to resolve the time differences as haven't really noticed it for myself, other than there can be differences between being shown the 'time created' and 'time modified' in listings, which may account for what you are seeing here?

Steve,

I think it is just the time zone difference you mention.  I will be certain to go by the backup version and not the date and time in the future.

Thanks
