Double backups.

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I am experiencing double backups being made when there should only be one per day. Many times a normal backup is made and 10 minutes later the same backup plan runs again. I get this problem and find that I have to delete the existing plan and start over with a new plan. After a few weeks it starts happening again. Has anyone else seen this?

Please export your backup plan into a .json file and share it here. Please also collect Acronis Scheduler logs as described in this KB article and also share them for comparison.

I just deleted the backup plan and started over again from scratch. When it starts happening again I'll grab the information you requested.

Hello Maria,

I've tried running the Acronis Scheduler logs as outlined in the KB article you suggested but I find no log output in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Acronis\Schedule2". Am I missing something?

Hello.

Please collect Acronis System Information from the Agent which backup plan is duplicated. We also need that you export this backup plan into a .json file. Then please upload all collected information onto an FTP link that I've sent you in a Private Message.

Sorry but you took too long to respond. I've completely uninstalled the product and installed fresh from the start. So far I haven't had the issue reoccur. I'll let you know if that changes.
