UI showing failures of previous jobs

Thread needs solution

I have a backup job that had several successful runs, then one failure, followed by several more successful runs. However, at first glance the UI shows the job as failed with a red circle X icon. Only when looking at the Activity tab can I see that the job is completing fine, it was only a single run that failed a week ago but it's been fine since. Shouldn't the main job icon reflect the latest status, not historical?

Peter, welcome to these public User Forums.

Yes, the red X icon should have cleared itself after doing a further successful backup or validation, so strange that it isn't being shown correctly!

Have you tried restarting the computer to see if that resets this incorrect notification?

I have, yes, it changed nothing

Peter, the other suggestion would be to force a rebuild of the internal Acronis database files as per KB 60915: Acronis True Image: repairing program settings - this will wipe ATI's 'memory' of previous task failures hopefully for you.

I decided to go with Option B and got Macrium Reflect instead that works well so far. I guess I'll have to wait to see if it stays more solid over time.

Peter, I suspect that the mess that Acronis have made so far with this release of ATI 2021 that you will not be alone in voting with your feet!
