Failed to deploy the ESX agent
I'm attempting to deploy the ESX agent to one of my VMWare ESXi hosts and it always results in the following error:
"Failed to deploy the ESX agent to ''".
I'm running Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 Advanced Server Virtual Edition, update 3, build 10.0.12703.
My ESXi installation is version 4.

I have no idea why I'm getting this. I tried turning off the firewall on the License Server machine. I tried using the IP address instead of the name but I'm getting nowhere with this. I need some assistance please.

Hey Anton,
Revoking the license and then re-deploy the ESX Agent worked. The agent was deployed to the ESXi host.
Instead of deploying to the cluster that I have running, I deployed it directly to one of the hosts so that I could perform some testing first. The problem now is that a dynamic group was created under 'Virtual machines' in the Acronis Management Console that I have no way of removing. Is there any way to get rid of this dynamic group?

It looks like you've added the Virtual machine to the AMS, and the group got automatically created.
It should get automatically deleted when you remove the machine. Should the group remain, we'll need to take a closer look at the problem.

Also keep in mind that even with the 12708 build they have. Dynamic Disk backup with the virtual appliance says it works and the backup says its OK! But when browsing the archive your dynamic disks are EMPTY!!
