Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 - Absolute Nightmare/Worthless (AVOID)
I have never have wasted so much time constantly having to babysit a backup solution. This product works for a handful of days, then fails, backup jobs hang consuming 2GB of RAM, agent token errors forcing you to re-register the machine, there's an agent update practically on a weekly basis, the web portal is constantly being changed. Steer clear away if you have to backup more than one single machine in a virtual infrastructure.
Spend the money and use Veeam, this product is absolute f'ing garbage. Cloud backups are slow as molasses, absolute trash, I wish we weren't stuck to this backup solution thanks to ConnectWise.

I couldn't agree more. The worst part is their support (if you can call that support) is completely useless and unresponsive. It took them 3 months to do a physical drive shipping upload.
Every time I've needed some help they either give send you the link for the documentation (which is completely useless for troubleshooting), or they make you wait for days if not weeks with some pathetic "solution". (reboot and reinstall is their moto).
Last week I've found out that bitlocker drives even though it's "supported", you have to recover the entire VM for file/folder restore.
I probably reboot the appliance agent once a week and have to babysit the jobs, it would be probably easier just to copy and paste the files elsewhere as a backup strategy. All this on a small environment with only a few servers, I can only imagine the terror of a larger environment.
Whatever you get, do not get Acronis!!!!! F*#k them!
