Acronis True Image 2021 is Broken

Thread needs solution

It seems everyone is experiencing very similar issues with Acronis 2021. Whatever happened to a normal simple and easy Backup and Restore program without all the frills and gimmicks that we know from history AKA Windows 10 that tend to ruin a good program.

Acronis!!! Don't add on bells and whistles, Just make the Backup and Restore App that used to great, The best there is. I'm sure we all have the Virus apps, we don't need more to conflict with the ones we have installed or at least give us the option of using yours at install time.

My Two Cents Worth

Lots of users will agree with you and do not want all these extra features!

Would be far better to let the users decide by having a modular installation approach so users can install only those features they want and will use!

Hello Everyone,

added all votes and feedback to  TI-213392 Allow installation without Antimalware component, thank you!

In my case, cloning and other tools are broken (greyed out) on:

-Arconis TI for Western Digital for brand new drive (downloaded 10/12/2021)

-Arconis TI 2017

-Arconis TI 2020

I won't purchase 2021 on, due to the simple fact they offer little to no support and now version that had been fully functional are broken without any foreseeable

As Administrator- The interface tools are grey out, attempting to start cloning from the command-line (using /clone option) results in "...TrueImageTools.exe not found" and trying to start the executable from File Explorer has the same issue.

Acronis needs to step up!
