Deleting backup archives failed

Thread needs solution

Hi members,

I have a problems. There are some machines whose backups I moved to another location.
The web console, on the other hand, even sees backups on the old location, but it is not physically not exist.
Therefore I can't delete these. I saw a similar topic on the forum but found no solution.

I don't use storoge node, only we use with network location. How can I delete the wrong location ?

Could you write me the right acrocmd command please?

Thank in advance.

Hello Károly!

I do this often (moving backups out of network locations). They usually disappear once the location is refreshed. If that doesn't work try deleting and readding the location.

Hello Karoly,

thank you for posting on Acronis forums!

There is no command for deleting backup location/vault with acrocmd since vaults are accessed directly, not via Acronis Management Server.

Therefore I can't delete these.

If you can see this location on the Management Console what the issue with deleting it?

Hello Maria,

as I mentioned, the machine points to a location that no longer exists.

I send a video link of this for you to understand:

https://we.tl/t-WR4gzAvfgj

Drive "E" no longer exists. Deleted.
We have merged all the drives and we are only using drive D.

Hello Károly!

Does the "E" location still show up in Backups > Locations? If so try deleting it, since as you say it doesn't exist anyway.

Hello Karoly.

Please open a case with Acronis Support Team for detailed investigation of this issue. You will need to collect Acronis System Information from the Agent that refers to a deleted location and from Acronis Management Server machines.
