Snap Deploy 3 - Driver Installation issue

Thread needs solution

Hi

i have a problem with Snap Deploy 3 and installation of drivers afer the deployment. I want to install 3 drivers after the deployment cause they were not be installed from the universal deploy....
1. Is an Realtek High definition Audio
2. Agere Modem
3. Intel 945M Mobile Graphic Chipset

Is there any possibility to install these drivers automaticly? Without any interaction? Maybe with a script. I also use "DriverGenius" to install some drivers, but those three can´t be installed.
Any hints would be appreciate?

Kind regards
Olly

Hello Oliver,

I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to solve the issue.

Can you please clarify in more details what happens if you install these drivers manually? Do you receive any error messages?

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.

I have a similar issue where i have placed all the drivers that i need for my various models of computers in to a central location on the deployment server, how ever after the image has been deployed and universal deploy has been run they are still missing this basic drivers.

Hello Steven and Mark!

Thank you for your comments and for sharing your concerns with us.

I regret to inform you that Acronis Universal Deploy installs only mass storage device drivers (motherboard, chipset, RAID controller, etc.) and doesn't deal with plug-and-play devices like network or video drivers, thus user has to install them manually. This was made in order to avoid the mess in the drivers and guarantee that target OS will be bootable. Please kindly take a look at the chapter 2.5.2 in the User's Guide for more details.

Unfortunately currently we do not have a solution allowing automatic installation of plug-and-play device drivers, but we are working on this question.

Any comment, feedback or suggestion regarding this case will be highly appreciated.

Thank you!
