TIH 2011: Did it backup, or not?
Have worked for a few years with TI v.10/11 in XP, Vista and recently Windows 7; no problems, ever. Since backups are vital I decided to upgrade to TIH 2011, last weekend. It's taken four days (off and on) to get accustomed to the new interface. What used to be a delightfully simple interface with TI 10/11 has now become much more confusing/confounding with TIH 2011. Conversely, TIH 2011 appears to backup faster than previous versions and the ability to automatically save a backup copy in a different network location is a good benefit.
Attached is a screenshot of the result of today's backup. Obviously there's an anomaly. I do not understand why. The backup is located in the targetted location and the copy is also present in the correct network location. Backup file and copy of same, restore files correctly.
Why then is TIH 2011 confused about the status of the backup?
Grateful for any insight members may be able to provide.

John, Yana,
Even the last 6597 build doesn't correctly update the "status" banners. Sometime, they get updated after you click on the backup now button for a manual backup.
For example, if a backup gets successfully completed, and then you run a manual validation, you don't get the "backup is valid" banner. But if you back up again manually, then the banner updates to the backup is valid...
John,
Don't trust the banners. Look at the log. Hopefully this UI issue will get fixed.

Dear Pat,
Thank you for your comment, and information provided, I appreciate it.
I've re-checked the development task, it has "fixed" status, and the fix is specified to be implemented to the latest build. If the issue is still present we need to re-open the task and make sure that it's finally fixed. I've forwarded your comment to the Developers and Testers. I would appreciate if you or any other Customer who has this problem with the latest build, could provide us with the screen-shots of the issue and Acronis Info from the problem machine.
This issue may be not a show stopper, but it's still important, as our Customers should have the most accurate information regarding the backup state.
Thank you once again for your comment and notification!
Let me know if there's anything I can help you with.
