Cannot read image

My harddisk got crashed while i was changing size of partition with your Acronis disk director.

I ve found on internet that i can use True Image to make back up of my broken harddisk. So i did it and burn my HDD on DVDs. Than i format HDD and instaled default windows VIsta.

But now i have problem that i cant read the burned archive. When i sellect recovery disk and there i select recovery only Folders FOlders and files than True Image do nothing and nothing recover even it says that recovery was done.

And if i sellect recovery all harddisk, than it wanted me to choose partition, where i wanna upload this recovered archive. But here i cant sellect nothing, even i made new free partition on my harddisk or i even left enought space on HDD without partition and still i cant continue.  I also tried connect external harddisk, but even there i cant copy my archive.

So i would like to ask how i can extract my datas from archive or how should i prepare hdd that i can put there my recovery archive.

Why can't you copy the image files to the USB drive? Do you get an error message?

Does the DVD backup validate successfully?

Have you tried booting to the TI CD and seeing if it can restore the files?

If the partition was corrupted because of the crash during the partitioning resize, it may have been backed up in a state that isn't going to allow the extraction of individual files.
