Unable to complete the backup consolidation started

Thread needs solution

Just did my first full backup with TrueImage 2021 and got this error message: Unable to complete the backup consolidation started. Can I please have some help understanding what this means and how to troubleshoot it?

Nigel, backup consolidation normally means using automatic cleanup rules to delete older backup versions but as to why there is an issue here for you is impossible to say based on just the information provided.

There is a new MVP Assistant log viewer tool that has now been made available by Acronis via the Community Tools page.. 

If you have Disks & Partitions backups created on ATI 2020 or later using .tibx files, then look in the Backup Worker logs.

If you have Files & Folders backups using .tib files (or Disk backup using same) then look in the Demon logs.
