Install Cyber Protection service 9.0 - Oracle Linux 6.9

Thread needs solution

Hi

I need to install the Linux Client Cyber_Protection_Agent_for_Linux_x86_64.bin on an Oracle Linux System 6.9.

When installing, the Client requests  kernel-uek-devel-4.1.12-94.2.1.el6uek.x86_64 which is not availaible.
The recent kernel is  kernel-uek-devel-4.1.12-124.45.6.el6uek.x86_64, which I installed by yum.
However, if I run tjhe install routine for the agent again, it still requests the release 4.1.12-94.
Any ideas?

Thx Christian

Hello Christian,

thank you for posting on Acronis forums!

Please check your kernel version by running uname -a.

The recent kernel is  kernel-uek-devel-4.1.12-124.45.6.el6uek.x86_64, which I installed by yum.

Most probably that you installed this package but your kernel remains kernel-uek-devel-4.1.12-94.2.1.el6uek.x86_64.

Please find here all the necessary modules to the Linux kernel that the setup program needs: https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/AcronisCyberProtect_15/index.html#22619.html
