How many partitions do you have and what format are they?

Hello,

blade117runner, we'll do our best to help you.

However, to investigate the issue we need some additional information. It seems that something wrong is with the drive or Acronis handled it incorrectly. To make sure that it is the reason of the issue, could you please do the following?

  1. Download Acronis Report utility;
  2. Run it, create a report and attach it to your reply to this thread. Please compress the Acronis Report output file into an archive (e.g. with WinZip).

This would provide me with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.

I have identical situation any follow up? I can backup from CD but drom working partition or continuos backup gives me same error during locking disk C: phase.

Same problem here. I've attached the report.txt file, in a ZIP format. Please let me know what you find. Thanks!

Hello Zahid Ali!

Thank you for finding time to report about the issue, I really appreciate if and will be glad to help you.

I've checked the information you've kindly attached, and found the following error:
-1  p(1) --CC  112G  112G    0b NTFS   07 NTFS, HPFS   ........... AEE
"E" letters indicates Errors on the drive.

In order to fix the issue, please go to
Start -> Run -> cmd
and issue there the following command:
chkdsk /f /r
and reboot the machine

This should solve the issue faced.
