I need windows drivers for free!

Thread needs solution

Hello,

Good morning to all! I need your help guys. I need a windows driver. Because I can't hear any sound from my computer. So I think there is an issue with my sound card. I need a place from where I can easily download free windows drivers.

Thank you so much!

Hello Mike!

Check for support/download for your motherboard on the manufacturer's site. Look for audio driver and get the version that matches your windows version. Drivers don't cost anything. You already paid for them when you bought the hardware they are controlling.

Try this first.

1. Open Device Manager and right click the sound device and select Update Driver.

2. Select Browse my computer.....

3. Select Let me pick from a list.....

4. Highlight the sound device shown in the list of compatible devices.

5. Click Okay and the driver should be installed.

Thanks for your reply here. I need a source from where I can easily search and download. Can you please tell me about that kind of exact source?

Thanks! This time I need an exact source from where I can download the audio sound driver.

I would like to update you again. I found a way while I surfing on Google like Windows Maximizer. They are providing more than 2000+ drivers worldwide. All of them are for free. There is no hidden charge or bullshit. I would like to try and download my expected driver from here.

What do you think? I will wait for your further reply.

Hello Mike!

I can't point you to an exact download without the make and model of your motherboard first.

Download and install speccy to easily find out: https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy

Update the device driver

  • In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.
  • Select a category to see the names of devices, then right-click (or press and hold) the one you’d like to update.
  • Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
  • Select Update Driver.
  • If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

Hope this helps
