Managed Machine Service wiped settings on 15 Jan 2021
MY wife's PC was new in Mar 2020 and uses Acronis True Image for a weekly backup. The most recent backup failed to send me the notification email. I discovered that this is a repeat of the error discussed in the thread below from Oct 2019 (it won't allow me to put a complete link):

I have now disabled the Managed Machine Service on this PC, and will restore the correct .tis file to the Scripts directory, but I am disappointed that Acronis has allowed this error to happen again.

I'm afraid I am unable to do that, and will have to leave it to others to do so. The version of ATI that I have is 2018, and their support site just says "Product is not supported", and does not provide the ability to raise a ticket, even though the issue is a bug at Acronis's end and affects all versions.
Thankfully, I have no need to manage all (two) of my devices from a central dashboard, so disabling the Acronis MMS service is perfectly adequate for me to avoid this issue.

Anthony, understand the support issue but you can still submit Feedback direct to Acronis to register your concern / complaint about this recurring issue. Use the Feedback tool found in the Help section of the main ATI GUI.

may I ask you to send us Acronis system report from one of your PC via the Feedback option? We're currently investigating the reports about the settings loss and my colleagues would be grateful for any additional piece of information.
