Email Notifications

Thread needs solution

Hello All,

I'm using Backup & Recovery latest version on 5 servers (standalone). I found out that email notifications do not work for Clean Up and Validation tasks???!!! This issue was highlighted to me when routines failed and I wasn't notified. Luckily I check for successful backup messages daily otherwise this server would have gone on for days if not weeks without being protected! Acronis Support tried to get it working then realised they wouldn't be able to. It's frustrating that Acronis haven't had this from launch or even now!! Come on Aconis development, you can do better than this!! Previous Acronis products are proof of that!

Thank you for finding time to contact us via Forum regarding this question. I'm sincerely sorry you've faced this inconvenience, and will do my best to shed the light to the situation.

Unfortunately currently the e-mail notification functionality for Clea up and validation tasks isn't available (only for succeeded/failed backups). But this would be a very useful feature, and I have forwarded your comment to the Development team. Rest assured it is taken under consideration, and our Developers will look into the opportunity of implementing this feature in future releases.
