Hello Mohammad and Colin,
Thank you for your help Colin and thank you all for posting.
Mohammad, I will certainly resolve this issue for you.
According to the .msi log that I was able to find in your open case with our support representative, the installation fails because our program cannot assign the necessary rights to your account under which you are installing our software.
You will need to add those rights manually and I would really appreciate if you can follow the instructions provided in this KB article.
If you continue to experience this issue, please continue working with our Support team and I am confident that we will resolve this issue.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.

Hello Anton,
Thanks for your prompt response.
I did what is listed in the KB article (mentioned above) but I still have the same error message. I tried different users (domain admin and local admin) but I still face the same errors.
Notes:
1- I'm Installing/updating build 12708 on Windows 2008 Server R2 - x64 standard edition.
2- I'm already running build 12497 on the same above server.
Regards,
Mohammad

Dears,
I managed to fix the problem by doing the followings:
1- I changed the log-on account for the following services from the original user to the installation user:
- Managed machine service.
- Management server service.
- Storage node service.
2- Re-Run the setup again and all went smoothly.
Thanks

Dears,
I'm reopening this case again because after I've changed Acronis login and installation user (as mentioned above); I can't login to the storage node even if the service is started.
I've rested the services accounts to theire defaults and still not running.
All these strange issues came with build 12708 only!!!
Thanks
