TI Home 2010 Does not work...
Purchasing this software has proved to be a BIG mistake.
First, it is impossible to make a bootable DVD. Every time I try it errors out. And, when it tries to create the DVD-RW disk it always states that it is trying to create a CD-RW which makes absolutely no sense.
I did manage to get a disk made on another machine.
When it boots from that disk it finds no disk drives.
What a great product.
And, as for tech support, it is non-existent.
To think that customers have to weed through this forum and purchase additional software in order to get a disk made that will work with the product is a joke, and a very poor one at that.
Geeesssshhhhh!!!!

When you were creating the bootable media, what error did you get? Can you please post a screenshot of the error message as well as a screenshot of where it shows a CD instead of DVD in Acronis as well as how your DVD is shown in Windows (from My Computer).
We have a procedure for troubleshooting situations when the bootable media fails to detect hard drives. Please check this article and contact our Support team.
If you have additional questions, please let me know.
Thank you.

It sounds like your problem is that you cannot make a bootable optical disk. Best bet is to do as Pat suggested and download an already prepared iso file that you can burn to CD. Then use any decent CD burner to put the iso image on a CD disk. There are good free ones around like imgburn. You don't need a DVD for the bootable disk -- the total bytes used come nowhere newar filling even a CD.
