Partition resizing

Thread needs solution

Hello,

How can I resize partition to fit in a smaller drive ?

I go on my tibx file, select restore all machine, choose my target device then I have not many options on disk mapping.

Example :

- source disk is 500go, with two 250go partition ( filled with 50go of data each)

- target disk is 250 go

It was easy to do it with 11.5 version by resizing partition.

Hello Germain!

You can do this with bootable media if you switch to volume recovery. On the gui I haven't found options to resize either.

Hello Germain,

thank you for posting on Acronis forums!

Please note that resizing during a restore is not available for disk/volumes that are backed up in sector-by-sector mode due to unsupported file system or disk/file system errors.
